2023 SEMA Jeep FC-170 by 1st Gear Off-Road, Roy Wallace
Built by Roy Wallace and his team of enthusiasts at 1st Gear Off-Road, this 1962 Jeep FC-170 (FC = Forward Control) absolutely stole the show at SEMA 2023 this year!
Featured in the Real Truck booth (#50027), this truck boasts a ton of custom features! Only a very few items were “off the shelf” from us on this build.
A custom length of 108″ long, by 72″ wide flatbed to start. Custom front 58″ boxes with a tapered edge. A custom 42″ tall headboard, designed to suit the profile of the FC-170’s cab lines. 60″ Side Gates to give the rear a box function, 17″ rear tool boxes and the fully sealed rear 48″ pull-out drawer. Last but not least, a custom 48″ long, 42″ tall canopy, with massive gull wing doors providing a large amount of covered and sealed storage space. We added the SET wings to the top rear of the canopy to allow the greater weight distribution of the Hi-Tents Roof Top Tent.
